	<answer label="Kirk Gibson">OF, b. 1957.  These players demonstrated prowess on the gridiron before joining their respective leagues.  Gibson was an All-American football player for Michigan State, and &#8220;Whizzer&#8221; White, so-called for his skill at running back for the Colorado Buffaloes, earned All-American status as well.  Both also played professional athletics in Detroit.  Gibson was the number one draft pick of the Tigers in 1978.  Even though White was destined to make his mark in another arena, he competed for the Pirates&#8212;not yet the Steelers&#8212;in 1938-39, where he led the league in rushing, and for the Detroit Lions in 1940-41.</answer>
	<answer label="Ron Cey">3B, b. 1948.  &#8220;The Penguin&#8221; was a power hitter, best known for his performances on Dodger teams of the 1970s.  Beaned in the head by a Goose Gossage fastball in the 1981 World Series.</answer>
	<answer label="Dusty Baker">OF Mgr, b. 1949.  A solid bat and glove, spent his playing career with the Braves, Dodgers, Giants, and A&#8217;s.  Current manager of the San Francisco Giants.</answer>
	<answer label="Bill Russell">IF, b. 1948.  Played his entire 18 year career with the Dodgers, and is second on the all-time list for games played as a Dodger.</answer>
