Palmiero, who patrolled the outfield for the Angels in 2001, spent 8 years in Anaheim's minor league organization before becoming a full-time major leaguer.  In 2001, his older cousin, superstar slugger Rafael, completed his 11th consecutive year of hitting 20 or more homeruns.  Lamar's tenure on the court was brief, but somewhat productive.  During his four years on the bench he wrote a total of 113 opinions.  His older cousin, Lucius Q. C. Lamar also played in the bigs.</answer>
