	<answer label="Joe Shlabotnik">Benchwarmer, b. ????  Shlabotnik was the baseball hero of the Peanuts comic strip character Charlie Brown.  Like Shiras, he was a total unknown.  So unknown, in fact, that in one strip when Chuck approached Shlabotnik for his autograph, the player was so pleased that he gladly provided the signature&#8230;and paid the kid a dollar for asking!  Shiras held no elected or judicial office before being nominated to the Court in 1892.  Geography and politics, not legal acumen, earned him his seat on the bench.</answer>
	<answer label="Walter O&#8217;Malley">Exec, 1903-1979.  Helped develop the Dodgers&#8212;in Brooklyn and Los Angeles&#8212;into one of the premier franchises in all of professional sports.</answer>
	<answer label="Fred Lynn">OF, b. 1952.  Named MVP and Rookie of the Year in 1975, but hampered by injuries throughout his career, which prevented him from racking up Hall of Fame numbers.</answer>
