	<answer label="Roger Maris">OF, 1934-1985.  These players were involved in controversial decisions involving the number 60.  Peckham wrote for the majority in Lochner v. New York (1905), striking down regulations limiting bakery workers to 60-hour workweeks.  Maris is remembered for the famous asterisk that accompanied his 61 homer year after he broke Ruth's record.  Controversy swirled as Maris approached the Babe's total given that Ruth swatted 60 in a 155 game season, while Maris had 163 games to accomplish his feat.  Perhaps Maris can finally rest in his grave now that Sosa, McGuire, and Bonds have made this controversy a moot point.</answer>
