Roberts has enjoyed success at every level of his academic and professional career, from his days at Harvard as an undergraduate and law student, to private law practice, and as a government lawyer and circuit court judge.  His tremendous skill has earned him the respect of allies and adversaries across the political spectrum.  Chylak, one of the few umpires enshrined in the halls of Cooperstown, was held in similarly high regard by players and managers alike.  Given his professional track record and broad appeal, perhaps Roberts is poised to replicate Chylak's on-field accomplishments, which include six All-Star games and five World Series assignments.  Only time will tell.</answer>
