	<answer label="Josh Gibson">C OF, 1911-1947.  An amazing hitter for power and average&#8212;batted .440 in 1938&#8212;and arguably the greatest Negro Leagues player of all-time, was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1972.</answer>
	<answer label="Cool Papa Bell">OF, 1903-1991.  Perhaps the fastest player of all-time, this Negro Leaguer could circle the bases in 12 seconds; legend had it that he once turned off the lights in his room and was in bed before it was dark.</answer>
	<answer label="Larry Doby">OF Mgr, b. 1923.  Broke the color barrier in the American League, signing with the Indians four months after Jackie Robinson joined the Dodgers.</answer>
	<answer label="Satchel Paige">RHP, 1906-1982.  Late starts in the major leagues unite these two men.  Lurton was an unspectacular justice; his eulogist admitted that he wrote &#8220;no startling or sensational opinions.&#8221;  He is distinguished, however, as being the oldest person to join the bench.  Lurton was 65 when Taft named him to the Court.  Paige was a standout, and a crowd favorite in the Negro Leagues for over two decades.  In 1948, at the age of 42, he became the oldest rookie to play in the majors.  He was named to the Hall of Fame in 1971.</answer>
