	<answer label="Eddie Murray">1B DH, b. 1956.  One of the most consistent hitters of his era, was the first player to be named rookie of the year as a designated hitter.</answer>
	<answer label="Jesse Barfield">OF, b. 1959.  One of the stars on the expansion Blue Jays, had one of the best arms in baseball, and considerable pop in his bat, leading the majors with 40 dingers in 1986.</answer>
	<answer label="Danny Ainge">2B 3B OF, b. 1959.  These players both switched sports and enjoyed success in other games.  Davis served in the Illinois House before coming to the bench in 1962.  He never lost the taste for electoral politics, though, and resigned in 1877 to serve in the U.S. Senate.  Playing for the Blue Jays, Ainge discovered that he couldn&#8217;t hit big league pitching, so he left the diamond to join the (basketball) court.  In that venue he played for the world champion Boston Celtics, has patrolled the sidelines as a head coach, and sat in the broadcast booth as an announcer.</answer>
