Gregory W. Wiercioch

Mr. Wiercioch is a 1992 graduate of the Washington and Lee School of Law in Lexington, Virginia. After graduation, he clerked for U.S. District Court Judge Jerry Buchmeyer in Dallas, Texas. Since 1993, he has worked exclusively on the state and federal post-conviction cases of indigent death row inmates. He worked for the Texas Resource Center until its demise in 1995. With two former Resource Center colleagues, he then formed Texas Defender Service, a private non-profit law firm that provides legal assistance to the men and women on Texas's Death Row.
