Biography: 

Lee Paterson is a partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office and is head of the labor and employment relations practice group in that office.

Mr. Paterson recently represented the employee benefit plan before the United States Supreme Court in the case of Nord v. Black & Decker. He successfully argued the case, and the plan won on a 9-0 vote from the court.

Mr. Paterson concentrates on the representation of management in labor and employment relations matters. He has extensive experience in the litigation of labor and employment law matters, including class actions, wrongful discharge, and employment terminations.

Mr. Paterson received a B.A. and B.S. from Oregon State University in 1964 and a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law in 1967.
