[p]Jon Nuechterlein is currently a partner in the Washington office of Wilmer Cutler Pickering LLP, where he specializes in appellate litigation and telecommunications law. He previously served as Deputy General Counsel of the Federal Communications Commission (2000-2001) and as an Assistant to the Solicitor General in the U.S. Department of Justice (1996-2000). He clerked for Justice David Souter of the U.S. Supreme Court (1991-92) and for Judge Stephen Williams of the U.S. Court of Appeals for D.C. Circuit (1990-91). He graduated from Yale Law School in 1990 and from Yale College (summa cum laude) in 1986.[/p]
