Biography: 

Charles Morse practices in the Firm's Issues & Appeals area. The bulk of his experience is in complex commercial litigation. He has written or helped to write a number of briefs filed in the United States Supreme Court, the federal courts of appeals, state appellate courts, and state and federal trial courts throughout the country. He has successfully argued motions in state trial courts in Florida and New York and appeals in the Third and Ninth Circuits. His clients have ranged from Fortune 500 corporations to indigent individuals. He has written briefs or presented argument in cases touching on the admissibility of expert scientific testimony, class certification, constitutional limits on punitive damages, contract interpretation, federal jurisdiction, the First Amendment, fraudulent transfer, choice of law, disqualification of attorneys, discovery, privilege, patent procedure, remedies, securities law, and the extent of tort duties.
