Biography:

Todd practices in the Firm's Issues and Appeals group. Most of his experience is in complex commercial litigation. He has briefed cases in the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second, Third, Fifth, Federal, and D.C. Circuits. He also has experience in representing clients in commercial cases at all levels of the New York state court system and has argued cases before the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the Second and Third Circuits and several motions in federal district courts. Todd's practice focus is in putative class actions, product liability matters, financial fraud cases — including cases alleging violations of the federal securities laws and state common law claims — and patent infringement litigations, principally in appeals before the Federal Circuit.

Representative clients in recent matters that Todd has worked on include Aradigm Corporation, Cardinal Health, Citibank, Dippin' Dots, Encyclopaedia Britannica EDS, Elekta AB, Lehman Brothers, Lucent Technologies, Pfizer, R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, and the United Services Automobile Association.
